Extreme global poverty inflicts early death and disease on millions of human beings. Factory farming imposes massive suffering on countless animal lives. And more pandemics could soon wreak havoc around the world.

The FTX Foundation is committed to addressing these global problems through the most effective charitable interventions. Some of the most recent organizations to receive funding include the GiveWell Maximum Impact Fund, GiveDirectly, the Clean Air Task Force, the Good Food Institute, the Humane League, the Schistosomiasis Control Initiative, and the TOGETHER Trial.

The Foundation also makes impact-driven investments. Recent investments include funding for a fintech company addressing poverty in sub-Saharan Africa and several companies developing next-generation coronavirus vaccines.
